Tales from the Crypt

"Knick Knacks" from an eight year olds perspective are the stuffed (via taxidermi, ya real...the once alive type) animals lining the tops of the book shelves in the schools library.

Tiny bits of paper no bigger than my thumb nail with a bit of scribble on them are valuable literary resources for the set of Polly Pockets living all.over.the girls room.

Cats do know how to play dead. You flip a kitten over in your hand about three feet off the ground and they just go limp. (It works really well with the little ones 'cuz they can't get away. Or scratch.)

God's sense of humor: give a gal some crazy curly hair, let a slight breeze whip a couple of strands around the side of her neck and watch her FREAK OUT screeming "AHHhh, get that bug off-a-me!!!!" all in front of a bunch of kids on the play ground. Good times. Now they all think I'm, I mean she's crazy(er).

That's all for me folks. How was your week?

Crazy, busy here as usual! Just went to "Praise and Coffee" to comment on the Twilight books series...hmmm.
Polly Pocket owns MY house!
My husband won't admit that when I don't straighten my hair that I look like a big frizz ball. (that's a good thing right?)
Planning a "Purity" conference with the youth group-lots of mixed up kids that need to know how to deal with peer pressure...
Kicking off Kids Klub next week with little ones by the campfire!
Just got done playing at church yesterday, well received, awesome song by Bebo Norman "Nothing Without You." Take care!
